Congratulations to Sophia Acosta from Mission Viejo Church of Christ in California! She is our T-shirt design winner for the 2008 convention LTCSW Shirts!

If you have not made reservations at the San Marcos Hotel yet please do so a.s.a.p. The deadline for reservations is February 4th to get the LTC rate of $93 + tax for a standard room (2 queen beds or 1 king w/ couch). Call 480-812-0900 or 1-800-528-8071. We are competing with Spring Training this year so call now!

Judges enrollment is on-line! Yay!! Go to www.ltcsw.org to register your judges in this process made easy this year. Deadline is Friday, March 14th.

New this year! All Song Leading participants need to bring 25copies of their song with them to convention this year- no overheads will be used!

Please plan to attend the Opening Ceremony from 3 to 3:30 pm on Friday in the Ballroom. This will be a time to have a devo to kick off the weekend as well as get some last minute info and updates.

LTCSW is always looking for runners and monitors for LTC weekend. Those are the guys and gals in the red T-shirts called C.H.A.R.M.E.R.S. (Convention Hall And Room Monitors) If you know a responsible young adult, maybe an LTC grad, that would be a good fit for this please contact

The Information Exchange Room will be back this year! This is a great place to see displays of Colleges, Camps, and Christian events that happen yearly. This is on the second floor in the Errol Flynn room next to the upstairs patio.

The Workshops are also back this year! These will be single sessions on Saturday afternoon geared towards training and information on: Signing, Puppetry, Super Service Challenge (new event), Christian Colleges, "Why Should I go to a Christian College?" and even Online Registration.

Deadline for Pre-Convention Event mail-in is Monday, February 25th.

Scholarship applications need to be received by Wednesday, March 12th.

The LTCSW Board is looking for a few good men and women!
