LTCSW Survival Guide 2008
The LTCSW Board met Saturday, March 1st and here is some information from that meeting we hope will be useful to you before the convention.
Schedules will no longer be on the nametags. There will be schedules posted at many locations around the hotel.
Church Coordinators – All yellow team sheets will be in your congregation’s welcome packet from Vivia Simons.
There are several useful reports on the website in the registration section, i.e. your judges, participants in events etc. Check these out and save some time and effort before the convention by printing any you find useful and bring them with you.
Deadline for registering judges online is March 14th. We need more judges! We are often asked if a parent or someone close to a participant is allowed to be a judge. If you believe you can be fair and impartial then we believe you can be a convention judge!
Remember the Church Coordinator’s Meeting on Saturday morning in Cibola’s. Come for input and an information forum especially for Church Coordinators.
No CCLI numbers are needed for Song Leading. LTCSW now has their own #. Remember, 25 copies need to be made for each participant to lead songs.
Please encourage your High School juniors and seniors interested in LTCSW Scholarships for ACU, Harding, OCU, Cascade, or Lubbock, especially if they are planning on attending any of these schools next fall!! See page 19 in the manual for details. Scholarships must be received by March 12th, either in the mail or online.
We are still looking for C.H.A.R.M.ers for the convention. These are the people that help the Event Directors at their room with the doors or monitor noise in the halls for events or are runners for the tally room. They get a free red C.H.A.R.M.ers shirt! If you know some responsible young adult or and adult coming with your group that would like to help, contact Jay Persons at: cap-JWP@msn.com.
