Registration to participate in Leadership Training for Christ Southwest begins in the local church, under the direction of the church coordinator. The church coordinator oversees the participation of youth from that congregation in LTCSW. The registration of participants are made as a group by the church coordinator.
If you are a parent and wanting your children to participate in LTCSW, but are not at a church that is engaged in the Leadership Training for Christ program, please contact Jeff Foster, president of the LTCSW Board of Directors. We can point you in the right direction to getting Leadership Training for Christ started in your local church.
Church coordinators are given login credentials to access the LTCSW REGISTRATION PORTAL. Church coordinators in need of login credentials, or who have difficulty logging in, should contact Brian Wendt, LTCSW website admin.
Registration is a necessary and important part of the process for those wanting to participate in LTCSW. Through the registration process, church coordinators communicate to LTCSW the number of youth from the church who are participating in the program and in which events. LTCSW uses this information to plan for convention sessions, order awards, order shirts, and plan other logistics.
Registration as a youth participant in LTCSW costs a $100.00 fee that includes participation in pre-convention events and convention events, a convention shirt, an awards plague, and costs related to the staging of the convention. This fee does NOT include overnight lodging at the convention hotel or meals. The costs of registration and accommodations at the convention hotel are the responsibility of churches and/or their members. There is NO cost to attend the LTCSW convention events as a spectator.
The $100.00 per youth participant registration fee is payable to Leadership Training for Christ Southwest. As the online registration is concluded, the church coordinator will be able to print out a receipt that shows the amount due LTCSW and instructions on how to send in payment.
Youth participation in LTCSW convention events and/or LTCSW pre-convention events requires registration and payment of the $100.00 per student fee. Registered participants do NOT have to attend the annual convention. A young person may opt to participate in only pre-convention events or in convention events that are not performance-based (i.e., the various art-oriented events).
On the LTCSW REGISTRATION PORTAL, church coordinators can also sign-up judges who will attend the convention from their congregation and sign-up volunteers to serve as C.H.A.R.Mers (Christian Hall And Room Monitors). Extra LTCSW convention shirts can also be purchased as church coordinators register their group.
